Affect Dynamics

Our latest research explored the prevalence of bistability in human affect dynamics and introduced a set of novel affect shift metrics to predict psychological well-being. The propensity to experiment shifts between positive and negative emotional states and particularly, the Positive-to-Negative Affect Shift Ratio (P2N-ASR) showed to be a robust predictor of psychological well-being.
